The Springfield Preservation Trust is celebrating its 40th anniversary and it will

Be  hosting a House Tour for the first time in the neighborhood of East Forest Park, Springfield

 

Sunday May 6 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM

 

Tickets will be sold at 24 Pondview Drive

The tour will display 3 homes on Pondview Drive and

3 on Ridgeway Circle, plus the Bethesda Church will be

open til 3PM

as its next speaker on Wed., May 9, at our May Meeting at Holy Cross Meeting Room,
221 Plumtree Road starting at 6:30 PM.

We have invited him to address concerns about our EFP neighborhood. You are invited to send me any questions that you may have which I will forward to him to be discussed that evening.

Monthly Street Captain Meeting – Neighborhood Watch – Friday, April 27th, 2012

Sgt. McCullum will be available this Friday Night for his Monthly Street Captain Meeting.   He will be hosting his monthly “Neighborhood Watch” meeting on Friday , April 27th 2012 at the Two Eagles on  at  Island Pond Road from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m
 
*Please note the location has changed and will be at Two Eagles Restaurant, Island Pond Road, in the back conferece room.

           We eagerly look forward to you getting together with us  and participating in the  Keep Springfield Beautiful Cleanup on Sat., 4/28, 9-12AM.

THROUGH THE EFFORTS OF  VOLUNTEERS, we are able to clear trash and debris from our Local Streets too!

South Branch Parkway/ Waterfront Citizens Committee

We are planning our second meeting on Thursday, March 29th at 5:30 P.M. at the Nathan Bill Park Field House, 135 Plumtree Road to discuss the South Branch Parkway/ Waterfront Citizens Committee.    We would like to invite you to the event and hear the concerns of the citizens in East Forest Park.  This is a great opportunity for us to get together and give back to the community.

To become a Street Captain or for more information Sgt. McCullum will be available at Murphy’s Pop Shop on Island Pond Road from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Sunday to talk with neighborhood residents. Please drop by and say hello and let him know what you think!

Rebuild Western MA Community Event

 

Please see attached flier which details an upcoming event which will provide information in regard to available Grant and Loan funding for Residential and Commercial repairs for Tornado affected areas of the City of Springfield.  There will also be important information provided for residential needs for areas outside of the Tornado affected zone.
